Hi,, I have a 6-904 & 8-904 redington single handed fly rods, I’ve been using chopper up skagit heads 15-20ft, the 6wt I’m using a 270g with 10ft floating tip & 6 ft of mono,, ( 20lb to 8lbs ) leader with a light woolly bugger, 320g for the 8wt with mono running line,, both heads seems to crash in the water sometimes,, using it on hatchery fish and sea run fish off Atlantic Canada,, shad, sea trout should I use a tapper leader or make my own,, could be to light to turn over the fly 🤷🏼‍♂️,, any ideas would help,, thanks and awesome videos 🐟 John C
